Video in the Classroom
In this session, we're going to get hands-on with screencasting. In just a few clicks, screencasting allows you and your students to record video of your screen and include your voice, your face (only if you want!) and even annotation and drawing tools. With G-Suite, Chrome, and Screencastify (a free Chrome extension) you can do amazing things across the curriculum at almost any level. Switch up assessment, improve student goal setting, set portfolios on fire, increase reading fluency, create podcasts, and have fun the whole time! Your videos will be saved in Google Drive auto-magically, which makes sharing a breeze! We’re also going to spend some time talking about how to make videos much more interactive with tools like EdPuzzle!
